Speaker McCluskie would like to hear feedback from her constituents' concerns regarding Bill 6.
Bill 6 would reclassify certain residential properties as lodging property if they are used for short-term rentals. However,
the bill completely carves out primary homeowners, so if you rent out a room or ADU out of your primary residence, then this bill will not change your property taxes or impact you at all. Additionally,
if you rent out your secondary property for less than 90 days per year, then your property taxes would also not increase.
We're hoping to get more information to ensure that HD-13 community members are heard as the bill process continues out of the interim committee.
If you can please answer these questions below, that would be greatly appreciated.
